OTS on the 12z Delays northern stream digging thus missing the phase, this will happen several times until the medium range.

This seems like the storm to watch out of the next 3 potential storms...even though it is 10 days out..always gotta start somewhere
Were going to see runs show each scenario and probably a different result everyo ther run throughout the next week or so. While I don't see a really cold storm coming, maybe we can get just enough cold air to squeeze out mostly snow or atlease a mixed bag storm but too early for those thoughts. -------------------- -James

WOW. That type of major storm setup could give NYC a possible blizzard. It would be interesting to see future model runs for that timeframe. I think you would agree. FWIW, at least on that GFS run that he posted, it was heavy rain for NYC and a western Northeast blizzard. That doesn't matter though, all that we should be focusing on right now is that there's still a storm in this time frame. Stop jinxing us with this fantasy map you post each storm!!! Even with the storms where I didn't post my fantasy maps they didn't work, so it won't have any impact on the storm -------------------- Visit my weather website for the NYC area
