Just curious to see what everyone's biggest fear is and explain why.
My biggest fear is snakes. I'm not for sure why I hate snakes so much but I'm going to guess it's probably because my whole family has a fear for snakes. One of my favorite quotes is "only good snake is a dead snake" Now it's your turn! |

I hope the best for mmi16. I'm not even going to think about retiring because at me being 20 I highly doubt I will even get any. My Grandfather retired at 65 - lived until he was 98. With his medical issues he basically outlived his money....and who is going to hire anybody but Betty White in their 90's? -------------------- Never too old to have a happy childhood! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't put an age limit on your dreams! |

Yea it's a big problem because no company is going to and without any money who gets those medical bills. I hope problems like this would just fix themselves but there is no way possible. (epically with Obama in there) I believe that times might turn for the rough by my time comes epically if I get the pleasure to live as long as your grandpa does. |

I have a fear of losing my wife. I almost lost her a couple weeks ago, it was the most terrifying experience in my life. She has recovered and is doing good now, but now I almost feel paranoid that something could happen again. She is my age which is 24.

Egg cartons. Gum wrappers. and losing someone close to me.

Repeating Harum's logical format:
Irrational - Rodents. I am just like the woman in a cartoon when I see a mouse. I can hold my own when it comes to armed thugs, but let a mouse run by me and I start to freak out and scream so high-pitched that only dogs can hear me! I have been known to "climb" any person standing near me in order to elevate myself away from the horrid monster. It could crawl up my leg!!!!!!! ![]() Rational - To be without my children. They are my weakest spot. When they are sad, I'm sad. When they are excited, I'm excited. I don't mind the thought of them growing up and leaving me. My problem is thinking about not being able to get to them if they need me. When I have nightmares, which isn't too often, that is typically the basis of them. -------------------- Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!" |

Egg cartons. Gum wrappers. What the heck is that about???? What the heck is that about???? Do tell... I wish she was here to explain the egg carton thing to you...she is very serious about it and I've asked her dozens of questions about it. She never touches them, even in the grocery store. She has the employees handle them or put the eggs in a bag for her that she carries with her for that purpose. She has no idea why she has this fear but apparently has had it since childhood. She fears the paper type carton more than the styrofoam. Didn't know about the gum wrappers....where is she anyway?! ![]() My fears and I'm liking harum's format: Irrational...the fear of falling from a high distance. I don't think it's a fear of heights because i will travel to the top floor no matter how high, just please don't expect me to get very close to the edge and pictures like this can make me almost faint: ![]() Rational....that something will happen to my children and in particularly the oldest one. I've been dreaming since he was a baby that something horrible will happen to him. I've woken up still crying and remembering the dream vividly. He did fall and break his ankle a couple of weeks ago... hope that's it now! -------------------- If you have one true friend in the world you are very rich. ~ Alistair Begg |

I always like to throw in while meeting "him" for the first time that I don't like boys touching my daugthers AND I'm not afraid to go BACK to prison.
