Accuweather's forecasts show the hi & low temp forecast for each day....except that the low temp shown for each day is not the forecast for the day indicated, but the next. The "thinking", I suppose, is that the low temp shown is the "overnight" low, which will be the temp for about 6 or 7 am in the following morning: not the day indicated, but the next.
Example: Forecast for today in Dallas shows hi 51 and low 39. The low this morning was 49, however the hourly forecast indicates the real low will about midnight at 43. 39 is really tomorrow morning's low temp forecast. So today's low was never forecast. Either today or yesterday. Why not just forecast the low for each day on the correct day, instead of forecasting today's low yesterday, and tomorrow's low today? Who the heck is Accuweather to decide that "the day" starts at 6 or 7 AM instead of at midnight like the rest of the civilized world? I just want to know the real forecast for a particular day. Can this be fixed? |
