A magnitude 6.2 quake occured near Java in Indonesia today. At least 10 are confirmed dead.

good that you mentioned this quake thunder, cause there are also the merapi volcano in the same area that are building up for an eruption, which i will say are very close to come.........the combination that is given now can become quite cataclysmic......cause i think todays quake will be a small start for the forthcoming ones..............we'll see , and i cross all my legs and limbs that there wont be...............

The official death toll for yesterday's quake stands somewhere between 2,500 and 3,500.

The death toll is now up to 'near 4,000'. The specific tally given in the article is 3,875. The magnitude of the quake has been increased to 6.3.

The toll continues to worsen...now topping 4,300.
