1. What is the last thing you scribbled on a scrap piece of paper?
Paper towels, dish liquid, Popcicles, Milo's 2. Is there anything that you did today (or in the past 24 hours) that you're proud of (and want to share with the rest of us?) I got the questions posted early when I wanted to go to take my headache to bed and wait till morning! 3. Did you bring home stray animals as a child (hoping to make them pets)? Anything I could get to follow me home (and I could hide under the house) 4. How much time do you think you waste every day on unproductive things…percentage wise? (I started to give my own definition of 'unproductive' but realized it's an individual thing). Probably 20% of my waking hours (a conservative guess) are spent daydreaming and I find that very unproductive. 5. Are you an organ donor? Yes, if they promise to wait till I'm dead. 6. Have you ever tried bartering as a way to obtain things you don't have instead of using cash? Do you or would you do it regularly? (for the uninitiated, bartering is the practice of exchanging goods and/or services rather than using cash…there are "bartering clubs" in many cities) . Yes! I think it's an excellent idea to lessen our dependency on cash and would love to get a bartering club started locally (looking into it) 7. Does your state have a tax on gasoline and is there something you would rather see taxed other than gasoline? Yes, my state taxes everything and out gasoling tax just went up...again! I think the state's budget needs to be looked into by someone out-of-state to see where all the money's going. We've got a state lottery for pete's sake! 8. Do you do your own income tax return? Yep. 9. What room in your house do you spend the most time in? a. kitchen b. living room/den c. bedroom d. garage/tool shed e. other 10. Do you or will you plan to be doing anything differently on 12/12/12? No, it'll be just another day to thank the Lord for. 11. Which of these 4 pies would you say you like the best (each comes with personality attributes, listed at the end of the questions, also according to "pie" statistics): A. Apple pie B. Pecan pie C. Chocolate pie D. Pumpkin Pie 11. According to "pie" statistics, 7% of Americans have passed off a store-bought pie as home-made. Are you one of the 7%? (We won't tell) Apple (independent, realistic, compassionate) Pecan (thoughtful and analytical) Chocolate (Loving) Pumpkin (Funny & independent) BONUS question for those who want to give it a try. I'll post the answers on Sunday night. Can you identify these 5 young people who all became famous later on in their lives? 1. Daffy Duck2. Sean Connery3. Babe Ruth4. Sylvester Stallone5. Nice job, Wings! I love the end where you tied in a game to The Questions. Nice Twist!
1. What is the last thing you scribbled on a scrap piece of paper? A message for my boss. 2. Is there anything that you did today (or in the past 24 hours) that you're proud of (and want to share with the rest of us?) I lit up my 20 year old for his laziness. I'm I proud of it? Not really. But a Maw has to do what a Maw has to do. 3. Did you bring home stray animals as a child (hoping to make them pets)? Yup. An injured baby bird one time. Unfortunately, we left him in the sun when we were at school and that didn't work out so well. The tadpoles did much, much better. 4. How much time do you think you waste every day on unproductive things…percentage wise? (I started to give my own definition of 'unproductive' but realized it's an individual thing). I'll say 3%. I wish I had more unproductive down time. 5. Are you an organ donor? Not so far, but I am signed up to be one. 6. Have you ever tried bartering as a way to obtain things you don't have instead of using cash? Do you or would you do it regularly? I don't think I have. I really have no desire to barter. If I want it, I save my $ to buy it - just keepin it simple. 7. Does your state have a tax on gasoline and is there something you would rather see taxed other than gasoline? We pay Michigan sales tax of $.06 on all our purchases, including Gas. There is another almost $.14 we pay in Fed tax, which brings the total per gallon 30 - 40 cents in both state & federal taxes. Booooo-Hisssssssss. 8. Do you do your own income tax return? No. 9. What room in your house do you spend the most time in? My bedroom. I spend around 7 hours each day in their sleeping. 10. Do you or will you plan to be doing anything differently on 12/12/12? Probably not. (We won't tell) Nope. Apple (independent, realistic, compassionate) Pecan (thoughtful and analytical) Chocolate (Loving) Pumpkin (Funny & independent) BONUS question for those who want to give it a try. I'll post the answers on Sunday night. Can you identify these 5 young people who all became famous later on in their lives? I can only recognize 1 of them: 1. 2. 3. George W. 4. 5. -------------------- Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!" |
