Saw some snowflakes in the sky yesterday... for about 5 minutes the snowflakes got quite large and were quite visible... neat to see. Then by afternoon we got a steady rain. only thing flying in the skies of nj are the ashe's from all the brush fires. At work thats what a majority of the 911 calls were for. -------------------- New Milford, NJ ![]() |

Had a few spits of rain, felt kind of warm. Could see more rain in the distance, looked as if it was out to sea.

saw plenty of snowflakes here in the valley yesterday, at times moderately heavy although no accumulations. Don't have to look very high on the mtns to see where accumulations started though, maybe 1200' locally. Looks like there were moderate accumulations above ~2500'
Warmer today though. -------------------- Winter '12-'13 Winter Storms of Significance (>4")

Building clouds, feels nice and warm. Looks like the iso shower threat continues for the rest of the day.

Amazing.
http://www.famousinternetskiers.com/a-morn...n-verydeepsnow/ A Morning in the PNVV (Pretty Northern Vermont in Verydeepsnow) What happened in Pretty Northern Vermont last night? How. What? HOW ![]() Well…forgetting about that bad joke, the good news is that the snow was VERY DEEP in Northern Vermont today. It was also very heavy, and reminded me a lot of the type of snow they see often in the PNW. Also reminded me a bit of the April 2010 PNVV storm, but maybe even heavier. Surfing is fun though

Building clouds, feels nice and warm. Looks like the iso shower threat continues for the rest of the day. This was the scene driving south at 1pm. Was pretty cool seeing Spring/Sumer clouds puff up and a distant rain shaft behind the hills. Camera Phone. If you look closely at this, look way back in the distance... Obviously was much better in person. Looks like some Cumulus clouds. This post has been edited by NorEaster07: Apr 10 2012, 04:05 PM -------------------- Snow Totals Per Season:

Are the ashes actually getting all the way to NE NJ? to be honest, no idea. i was busy all day and only went out for a smoke a few times. It just amazes me even though its not hot, how many brush fires just start up. -------------------- New Milford, NJ ![]() |
