Most of the time Seen it starting to develop earlier, thought "great now it's south of me". Probably step outside in a bit and enjoy the lightning. Im hearing some pretty constant thunder right now. -------------------- "Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, its a TWISTER its a TWISTER!"

Yep, the tecnology available seems to always let you know how close you were to the sweet spot....but yet so far away... been a rough year and half or so as far as weather goes and human impacts....so like you said...taken with a grain of salt... it's weather, ya love it or hate...sometimes you're forced to do both i suppose...lol cheers...and good luck with the rest of the season monger! not going to share my obs at the moment... |

Hearing the thunder, quite a bit of elevated lightning. Crappy southern view though. Still seeing stars directly overhead

Night photos especially with a phone are hard, but here's what I see every 5-10 seconds when the lightning flashes. Definitely building going on.

Lightning is picking up pretty good, just had one blinding flash and about 8 seconds later rattling thunder clap. Currently looking for a kite

I'm having trouble deciding on the risk factor for the Dayton area today from reading all the forecasts. What are your thoughts?

I'm having trouble deciding on the risk factor for the Dayton area today from reading all the forecasts. What are your thoughts? Well, if they are anything like the "severe storms" (NOT) that we got, then I wouldnt be too worried. Severe weather this year just isnt playing out around here. Good luck tho. -------------------- "Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, its a TWISTER its a TWISTER!"

That was some lightning show this morning. I thought a bomb went off! Many places don't have to worry about the drought issue anymore. Measured 2.27 inches IMBY. Places south of me got anywhere from 3-4 inches plus.

Hoping for some boomers around here. Hot as heck but only 79 lol. Dew Point of 68 is not comfortable no matter the temps.

They now took the Dayton area and South out of the slight risk. I'm sorry for those of you that love it, but I, for one, am Happy!
