Hi guys,

I currently own a WMR 112. It is a good weatherstation, only it can't connect to the pc. I can buy a WMR 918 or 928 monitor, but i want to make sure my sensors are compitable with that monitor. Does anybody have any idea if they are compitable?

Hi Joralf,

I am using the US versions, a WMR-112A console receiver along with my WMR-968. All of the sensors that work with the WMR-968 work fine with the WMR-112. My WMR-968 is hooked up to my computer for reporting to Weather Underground (KMDSAINT1), weatherforyou/hamweather (RollesCrk) and CWOP/APRSWXNET (CW2157), the WMR-112A is another room and is receiving the signals from all of the sensors (BTHR968 indoor temp/barometer, WGR968 anmometer, THGR968 thermo-hygrometer, 2 THGR268 thermo-hygrometers, 1 THC269 temp with wired probe (for water temperature) and the RGR968 rain gauge). The combination works very well. (BTW, the THGR268 works with the older WMR-918 as well, but NONE of the other 918 sensors work with the 112 or the 968.) I'm not sure, but I believe the UK versions (928 and 112) should be as compatible as the US versions (968 and 112A)

The US model 112A works with all of the sensors for the WMR-968. I have not worked with the European versions so I cannot guarantee it, but the 112 and the -928 models are equivalent, so they should be compatible as well.

Anyone with info to the contrary please jump in.

I found this:
http://www.meteorologica.co.uk/product.asp...y&PT_ID=all

These consoles come with no sensors. If you already have a WMR928 or a WMR112 then the console will pick up your data from these sensors and give you an additional display! You can add as many as you like to your existing system.

So it will work at least so does meteorologica.co.uk claim.
