wind advisory issued
with a wind chill advisory certainly going to be needed for sunday and sunday night some light snow, mixed with rain, certainly will make it fill more wintry out |

was a pleasant suprise that we got about 2 inches this am in W PA.

Wind Chill Advisory:
Issued at: 3:35 PM EST 2/9/08, expires at: 11:45 PM EST 2/9/08 Wind chill advisory in effect from 9 pm Sunday to 9 am est monday, The NWS in pittsburgh has issued a wind chill advisory, which is in effect from 9 pm Sunday to 9 am est monday. Wind chills can go colder than 10 below Sunday night and early monday morning. A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and gloves. |
