in the proverbial "calm before the storm" we should all wait and chat here
Jesse can you make this a sticky group so its always on top? and feel free to move it if you want...it probably belongs in non topic stuff but since its in between storms it will be weather related --------------------  |

This is awesome, and exactly what I had in mind!

this waiting room is cool. I will be in and out of here this week.I start the spring semester tomorrow at hofstra university. There will be a ton of work to do. So I'll post from time to time. When a big storm is certain to happen, I'll post from Hofstra. I'll try and get into their chem and physics center and do posts from there. My friends aren't weather nuts, neither is my gf. everyone thinks I'm nuts for wanting a big daddy storm. Feb 9 and 10 looks promising. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sorry, but we need to keep the Current Weather forum just that - current weather. This will be moved to "Other Weather Stuff". No offense, but we need to stick with the rules that we setup under Current Weather about 1 topic per storm (that wasn't my decision, it was the group's). If you can clarify more what you are looking to do, I can recommend where in the Forums to do it. I see the Forums themselves as the Waiting Room - click on AccuWeather.com Forums to see all the different places you can talk about weather-related items. I was under the impression this "room" would be a place to chat about whatever, get to know the other members, etc.... more of a socializing room than a "weather" room... since we aren't allowed to post anything but weather statements in the current weather forum.
