Here are some shots of a nice thunderstorm that rolled through Sea Isle City, NJ this past summer. And the cool rainbow that followed shortly after.

I found some shots of some significant flooding at the Skuykill River in 2006.
I walked up to the Conshohocken Bridge and took these pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice pics, John. Where I lived at the time was located just to the north (literally by 10 miles) of where low level convergence lead to the development of the slow-moving, convective snow band that slid south and eastward that morning. If it were not for this band of heavy snow, this would have been just a regular coastal low induced snowfall event. Snowfall rates of 3 to 5 inches per hour for a period of 3 or 4 hours combined with thunder and lightning really made the difference.

Unbelievable. However, I wound up falling asleep when the 3-5" per hour rates came through. I was so *bleep*ed. I stayed up until like 4 waiting for that band. I remember people kept saying, "It's coming." but it just kept getting pushed back. Next thing I remember I woke up at like 9:00 and saw 18" out on my driveway after going to be with around 10". And by the way, thanks for that radar loop. Love looking at it. -------------------- No Outlet

What a nice storm this was. I remember the Mets on TV kept on updating the totals like every hour. I received around 16 inches of snow from this storm but at one time during the storm, the snow rates were incredible. Boy I wish we could get a storm like this again.

Dont remind me of this!! it was a horrible flood!! i lived up in the valley at this time and we got nailed about ten inches of it!! the river system up here since all of the new development is not that great... we experienced the worst flooding ever! We had rivers up to where i was living im about 1/2mile away from the nearest... it started friday and on that sunday i believe this was not cool... we went out and got stuck in between two rivers and literally the only way out was to go through it!! We went through it it was above the top of the car i dont know how it didnt stall or we didnt drift away but we were lucky i guess... never never never go through flooded roads... The next day it had stopped and went to school but my bus driver had a tough time because we had to go through a flooded river and that was the only way out or back up past the rail road tracks where freight trains go flying by!!! never will i forget this!
