FAQ: Weather Sticker, How To Get It, Why It Disappears Options

The weather sticker will be back soon, white in color, as the majority voted for. To add it, fill out the zipcode field in your My Controls/Edit Profile area.

During high traffic modes, the weather sticker may be removed by the system techs to improve performance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. Can you add the state?

Short-term: No, we are using another product called NetWeather Mobile to power the weather sticker.
Long-term: Yes, this has been added to the list of items we want for the next version of that product.

If you click on the sticker to be transported to AccuWeather.com, you will see the state.

2. Where does the weather data come from?

The current conditions come from AccuWeather's current conditions database... they are *usually* the nearest NWS station to your zipcode centroid but could be interpolated in remote areas.

3. How often do they update?

NWS stations update every 20-60 minutes.

4. Can you read in my weather station instead?

Short-term: No
Long-term: Yes, we have plans to read in amateur weather observations in the future.

5. Can you change the color?

Short-term: No, we are using another product called NetWeather Mobile to power the weather sticker.
Long-term: Yes, this has been added to the list of items we want for the next version of that product.
