I will start here. Then we can vote who has written the best poem...............
"orion" the celestial wisps of incandescent light are falling tonight and we catch them like snowflakes of splendor and gleam glitter silver moon, time stands frozen and unabated satellites spin until I bleed with the essence of love and time I fall into you arms, I fall into your arms, and my heaven falls the sun turns blue and the light is calling you the birds sigh and the winds cry, beneath the ground, love shakes lost with shouts of fire and the hearts in bloom, I search for the never-ending sky of you I conduct a symphony of sound tonight, through the speakers, the sound sinks into the celestial sphere at night your pretty face and eyes of blue, inside your heart is heaven true forever and always, I am with you, forever and always, I am with you crystal sips of heaven entwined in you, heart soft lullaby consuming my mind, soft this dream is mine, and gathering through the deepest reaches of time, dust is pulsating and surrounds the angels who are dreaming of you but only I can dream of you, in the days of autumn and the hours and minutes of winter your skin melts against mine, like it has done in seasons before Who wants to try next? I am a poet as well as a weather fanatic ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by starsinmysky: May 21 2009, 02:35 PM |

Childhood Places
I see the landscape in my mind Of a place I left behind I remember every tree~ That is what it’s meant to me. We couldn’t do anything wrong On those summer days all gone I remember those moments past~ Kids always think the fun will last. Growing up was far away From the rocky shore where we would play But then I turned around to see The years have spun away from me And the loved ones that I held so dear Are lost to me~ no longer near As wrinkles settle upon my face I’m longing for that childhood place. My dreams know all the roads to take On my journey to that lake To spend time with you when I can Where we are children once again. M.H. 01/08/08 -------------------- ![]() |

Sitting here at this dusty table,
White skin covered in black, Pondering to write this fable, Waiting for the long black train, Fellowmen under the earth, Digging, Digging, Digging, Waiting for fuel to celebrate it's birth, As I am falling alseep... -------------------- I have left this account. I have deleted my email. I am going to the woods. I will see you in time.

"Ahem."
*shuffles papers* Somewhere beyond me, there lies a peace, I never knew I was missing. Drowning in the seas of life, I was waiting for you to come fishing. You showed me calm, you showed me love, always after you I followed. I slip, I fall, you pick me up and tell me time is borrowed. I make in myself, the best things from you, the lessons learned, the wisdom you knew. But now you're gone, and here I sit, thinking of things you said. You told once, "No matter how hard, no matter how long, there is a peace to be found in the end." *drinks from water glass, bows, and exits stage right.* This post has been edited by ironwood: Jun 10 2008, 07:00 PM |

Can you think that this would happen to me,
an EF2 tornado that I can see, The first EF2 since 1991, but I'm the only one that likes the sun, and I didn't like this, during then I really wanted a kiss, that would make everything better, but the heavy rain is making everything wetter, what an amazing storm I never thought this could be.
