I work for a television production company in London called Impossible Pictures, one of England’s foremost science documentary production companies.

We are working on a series for broadcast in the US about severe weather; about the people that study it and new technologies that are being developed to mitigate it. The idea is to follow a real weather chaser, as they track the severe weather, and throughout these scenes we will keep returning to look at the work of scientists and engineers who are developing technologies that may one day help to mitigate the effects of these storms.
The first programme we are making is looking at Hurricanes. As you know, the Hurricane season is now well and truly here, and we’re trying to develop a relationship with a US based hurricane chaser, with the aim of following them as they chase the biggest storm of this season. The idea is to follow them as they go about their work, seeing what it takes to track a hurricane. If anyone’s interested in taking part or could put me in touch with anyone they think might like to get involved, please do get in touch by emailing me – richard.wyllie@impossiblepictures.co.uk.
Many thanks for your help,
