So, you think it should go from F5 to "Super Humongous amazingly large 17 mile wide Chuck Norris Karate Kung Fu F6 Super Tornado"?

I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree with this one. Kind of an East Coast bias with the MECS/HECS levels. mellow.gif

Still too many. You don't need a different title for every set of 1000 posts. I kinda like the tornado scale, just add in the rest of the numbers and broaden it. I think my set up would work quite well.

Hmmm. Do a different one for summer/winter.
For summer most of spring and most of fall. Bl1zard (sp) idea.
For winter part of fall and part of spring, do something like this. (Mostly so_whats-happening's idea)
0-150
Flurry

150-300
Snow shower

300-600
Surpressed storm

600-1200
Clipper

1200-2400
Normal storm

2400-4800
Blizarrd

4800-8000
10 year superstorm

8000-16000
Storm of the century

16000+ Why are you on these fourms still?

Sounds fine, but there is no need at all for us to have two different scales for winter and summer. In fact, and I mean this with utmost respect, that's just stupid. Confusing and pointless. Either use a winter theme or a tornado theme. I prefer the latter.

Ehh, fine. dry.gif.
Wouldn't it be confusing to have an f5 torando In the winter? rolleyes.gif
Or... we could not even notice it was a post counter and put f1-f5 and be done with it.
Or we could do the winter theme all year.
