Can a moderator please upload this picture below as my avitar. I scaled the picture down below the requirements, and it still doesn't wrok, and this has happened before. The picture below is back to its original size. Thanks.

Sorry, Joe, we can only remove avatars and not upload them. Did you try refreshing after the error message popped up?

upload the image to image shack or photobucket....reduce it to thumbnail or avatar size and save it, and then right click and save that copy to your hard drive and upload it on here.

I was just about to say Marisa's idea worked. I tried it for myself. Joe, you can resize images you find in either ImageShack or PhotoBucket. Then save as to your hard drive and then upload it.

Always click "Remove Avatar" before any uploading. Ensure it is the allowable size also.

Every time I try to upload an avatar I get this message.

Uploading an avatar usually doesn't work for me on try one, but if I try again right after my first try, it usually works. 1.) Always click "Remove Avatar" before any uploading.
2.) Browse and find your file to upload. Click "Update Avatar". 3.) Go back after you receive the first error message. 4.) Refresh the page. 5.) Finally, click "Update Avatar" once again.
