I was wandering how there are so many nice moderators here and if i could become one? There are minimum requirements- * Your warn level must be ZERO - Always. There are no exceptions to this rule. * Well versed in all parts of the forum. * Well known in all parts of the forum helps, too! *General knowledge in the weather *Team player MissMarisa, DS2434, Weatherman Tyler, Carlos, Monsoon, and I work together on everything and are constantly talking to each other. We are a strong unified team, and any member would have to also be a team player. Im sure there is more that I am not thinking of at the moment.... Mods... feel free to step in.... -------------------- Kay Lewis Proud to be an Accuweather.com Global Moderator ![]() |

I think you must also have a lot of free time on your hands, which I don't.

I think you must also have a lot of free time on your hands, which I don't. Yes, that certainly helps.....it's hard to be a Moderator if you are never on. It is also helpful if you are familiar with and abide by the Forum rules and giudelines. Wishcasting, off topic posting, forbidden subjects and topics, etc.....you have to know and follow the rules before you can enforce them. -------------------- ![]() |

A couple clarifications:
1. Not only must your warn level be Zero, but you must have never had any activity in your warning panel at all. 2. You must have been a member of the Forums for more than one month, and have more than 50 posts. 3. Although you are not paid, there are other benefits which you'll find out when you become a Moderator 4. We are not hiring at this time, though we may be in early December, especially for the Midwest area. -------------------- -- Jesse Ferrell, FORUM ADMIN & MODERATOR

Oh poo, the only thing going against my chances are the warning levels... Same. I had a 10% warn level for 3 months, posting something that was somehow off-topic in a May snowstorm thread. -------------------- Lead forecaster for Foot's Forecast SE PA Team
