My personal home page which I use with Weatherlink is on the regional server for roadrunner ie home.cfl.rr.com/user.
They are deleting the local servers and going to a new national server ie home.roadrunner.com/user.
I have migrated to that server but Weatherlink will not upload to it. I have also heard that Front Page will not upload to it either.
Has anyone tried this for a PHP or have any suggestions?

When you contacted Roadrunner for advice, what did wylie coyote say how to work around it?

I had to go into my public folder and rename my home page template to be index.htm. My page now uploads, BUT the Weatherlink template has some inaccurate info on it now. The .gif files all show my current readings just fine, but the entire column down the left side of the page is stuck with information from the day before I performed the migration. I'm still trying to figure this out too. Have you gotten any further?

I tried renaning to index.htm and it still doesn't work.
Also does your PHP have ~user now although it was set up with just user?
Does your Weatherlink log file say anything? Mine says Upload of Data Upload Profile(s) 1 completed OK. When it is performing the FTP transfer it exits immediately and doesn't show any progress of transferring any data or gifs.

Your "template" file is not being uploaded to the web site. This should occur every "cycle" - the .htx file is populated using tags, by WeatherLink, and then uploaded.

You've changed something that causes this - either the location of the template, or the upload settings.

If that's not clear, consult either the Weatherlink documentation, or email Davis tech support.

Footnote: srpawski, your gratuitous beeps are not helpful, and really *bleep* people off.

My apologies. I do understand they are not helpful, but I thought some on the board may have somewhat of a *bleep*ing sense of humor.

are you loading the template to a specific location such as a space allocated by your ISP to your account name. Sometimes things are uploaded and disappear because they head for the ISP server and go somewhere else.. check again to be sure that they are being uploaded.

My log looks like this
12/11/08 5:53a Downloaded Toubes ok.
12/11/08 5:44a (Toubes) Upload of Data Upload Profile(s) 1 2 3 4 5 6 completed OK.
12/11/08 5:43a (Toubes) Successfully uploaded APRS.
12/11/08 5:43a (Toubes) APRS string: "CW0005>APRS,TCPIP*:@111143z4136.38N/09341.73W_319/001g...t022r...p...P000h87b10183L000.DsVP" Sea Level Bar: 1021.3 Raw Bar: 983.0 R: 1.03900

as far as the "beeping" I really saw the humor in it.. RoadRunner.. Beep, Beep.. you know the cartoon with Wilie Coyote... I didn't find it offensive, but then again.... according to the premise that they were Bleeping people off must prove that I am not people.. something my students have implied for years... I must be machine.. yes, that is the ticket....

oh.. check that you are loading your templates to the right ISP location.. Another thought crops into my non-people mind.. maybe the directory you are uploading to.. is full ... go there and look and see what you can eliminate.

Now you're talking...

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
Where have you been?
It's alright we know where you've been.
You've been in the pipeline, filling in time,
Provided with toys and 'Scouting for Boys'.
You bought a guitar to punish your ma,
And you didn't like school, and you
know you're nobody's fool,
So welcome to the machine.

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
What did you dream?
It's alright we told you what to dream.
You dreamed of a big star,
He played a mean guitar,
He always ate in the Steak Bar.
He loved to drive in his Jaguar.
So welcome to the Machine.
