What do you meteorologists think is hardest about the meteorology major? Is it the physics or math?
I kind of figured you wouldn't need to use as much of that math and physics as you learned in college, rarely do I hear mets use really advanced math and physics terms in the AFD's.

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..
1. A BROAD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM HAS DEVELOPED ABOUT 175 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF GUATEMALA. ALTHOUGH THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS POORLY ORGANIZED AT
THIS TIME...SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE
OF DAYS AS THE SYSTEM MOVES TO THE WEST OR WEST-NORTHWEST AT AROUND
5 MPH. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...20 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING
A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
Here we go again, if all goes well this could become the next TS this week. How ever shall my forecast of 4 EPAC NS verify? Discuss about this invest in here.
