Current Systems I wonder what life would be like if this were a true portrayal of our current conditions.

I've been monitoring the GFS and Long-Range GFS runs in the past few days, and it is looking like from the 21st through the end of the month, some strong systems will form, pulling the jet stream down and flooding Ontario and Quebec with cold air (in some cases meaning overnight lows near 5 and 8 degrees. And although it's near the end of the month and very unclear at this point, that Nor'easter type low that is showing up around the 27th/28th is worth keeping an eye on. The temperature gradients showing up on the model runs are not pretty.
