Does anyone on here have a StormVista account? Are the ECM weekly and monthly forecasts included in the cost? Do you like the service overall? Any feedback on the site will be appreciated!

With the GFS showing the potential of cold air lasting a prolonged period in the East after our next storm and the stratospheric warming that has taken place, I figured we should have a place to discuss the potential.

Some of the 00z GFS ensemble Members and especially some of the 6z members (8 of them) show the low that forms in the four corners area of the SW trekking across the country and eventually becoming a low somewhere in the NE part of the country. I'll admit it doesn't look like we'll see precip from this storm, especially snow but the potential does have to be watched IMO.

NYCSuburbs and I (along with a few other members) have been watching the later hours of model runs the past week, which have been hinting a the possibility of a ridge working its way into the NE. Lately, they have backed off but several GFS ensemble members as well as some OP runs of the GFS and ECM continue to show the possibility. With it being so far off, obviously nothing is set in stone so we might as well have a topic dedicated to it.

The ECM shows the possibility of temps 80+ degrees starting on April 25th, and warming each day until the end of the data (I can't show it because it's on AccuPro) but I can show this map.

The last few runs of the GFS have been becoming warmer and warmer for this time period as well so I think this is a definite possibility.
