I lurk here and rarely post but love the information you all share with each other. It's fun watching the incoming storm tracks and information even though I don't understand any of it. Normally, I don't look at any other sites but the EC site and here however, I have a few friends posting information from a Facebook group (yeah, I know, not the most reliable source)...but they were earlier claiming 20-50cm for late this week, now suggesting 10-20 by Monday.

I haven't seen anyone here post about upcoming systems so I wonder where the heck this group gets their information from.

Just got an alert saying there is a snow squall warning for my area and "Total snowfall amounts of up to 40 cm are possible under the heaviest bands."

I am guessing this would be too good to be true for us snow lovers in the KW/Cambridge area.

I am curious how things are shaping up for SW Ontario for the week of Christmas (Kitchener area). My girlfriend from Virginia moved here last June and had never really seen much snow before so last winter was a perfect display for her tongue.gif

Her mom is coming to visit over Christmas (22nd-27th) so was wondering if we'll be lucky and get some snow and have a white Christmas in the area!

I wm wondering if there are any sites/places I can go to see things like:

Rainiest place in Canada, most thunderstorms annually in Canada, most thunderstorms annually in the world etc.

Was hoping maybe some of the weather followers here may have something like that bookmarked if it exists smile.gif
