What's you're favorite topic ever in EE?

So, which one is your favorite and why?

Personally it's the lounge and corrupt a wish for me, which is quite obvious.

Both are funny and have so many twists and turns, you just never know where it's going to go.

If you were in charge..........

Ok, most of the posts in here on the country and politics seem to be a debate over which side is right. How about something that might actually provoke some real thinking and be positive.

Let's imagine that you're in charge (President, Majority Leader, whoever) and you get to make changes for our country. What specific things would you do and why. Solutions, not attacks.

Don't know if this thread will work, cause attack is easier, but I'll give it a shot.

One rule. You have to post your solutions, before you debate someone else. Fair enough?

Hurricane Forecast Game

Wanted to see if everyone wants to test their forecast skills. I had an idea to start a game similiar to the predict where storms will hit game.

First and foremost, none of us wish for damage or loss of life and property, but making a forecast doesn't effect the weather and this is simply for testing prediction skills, not wish any harm to anyone or their family and friends.

Here's the idea. You predict what town will be the official landfall location for the hurricane. The earlier you predict it, the more points you get. The final 6 hours before landfall, you will not get points. Starting at 6 hrs in advance you get 1 pt for every hour in advance that you picked it. You can change your town, category or wind speed the clock restarts. You get your town and any landfall within 25 miles.

Any ideas to improve would be welcome.



Also bonus points for

Correct Category at landfall - 5 pts

Wind speed - 10 pts. in increments of 5 mph (75, 80, 85 etc.)

If you think you like the idea. Pick a city and you are entered. One person per town.

I increased the bonus for wind speed to 10 pts. It's harder than category.

Vacation

Where have you always dreamed of going on a dream vacation to and why? It's ok if you have more than one.


For me, it would be to an island in the South Pacific, with incredible scuba diving and completely away from all tourist trap stuff. Quiet, remote and beautiful. Preferably with a special lady.
