I have been a member since '06 and have recently had Thermo system quit on me. I have read 29 pages and all the posts that go with it, of this topic (Davis Vantage Pro) over the past two weeks. I will continue to finish reading the 21 other pages in this topic.
One thing I have noticed is the apparent problem with the data logger connection to the computer. Most seem to think the serial connection is better than the USB. Is this still an issue? I am sold on the Davis VP 2 with FARS. I can't wait to get my system in the summer.

This weather station sure is a PITA to reset after a power outage. Has anyone else noticed this? Luckily the power does not go out too often around here.
