So I was posting maps in this thread, but it wasn't efficient and didn't allow me to easily do more with each storm. I put my 'project' on hold for awhile while I considered alternatives. I decided that I'd go with a wiki (like Wikipedia) and in response, the project's size more than tripled. Long story short, here it is:
http://easternlakeerieweatherhistory.wikia...er_History_W ki I hope to bring every storm that I do up to the level of this: http://easternlakeerieweatherhistory.wikia...ber_10-11,_1906 For now, that is my model for each storm (maybe minus the NWS summary and photos). Major storms get first priority to be brought up to that level (I'll call it "B+"). Particularly unique or special storms will be taken more in depth, or to "A+" level. I hope to get 3-7 storms done each weekend, with 1 or 2 on weekdays if I have time. In a perfect world, this will be 75-85% complete by mid-late 2012.

Largest in a series of large snowstorms in February and March 1900.
Gray areas were not covered or did not have enough data. The Binghamton area and some of the Catskills had virtually no records for the time, however there was a sufficient trend in what there was that I could map it. Track outlined, map from March 2nd by the Weather Bureau. Detroit's 14.0" inches was from the NWS website and is the city's 4th largest snowfall recorded and the city's 3rd largest snowstorm (16.1") was a few days later on the 4th and 5th. I love the gradient on this storm. Poor Cleveland though.
