Tornado Chasing Trip!

First, a little background info on the situation.

This is the first year that I have been really involved in weather. I have always been fascinated with weather, but this is the first time I have actually been able to go out and chase, and have the technology to do so.

So me and a couple of my buddies have been planning a trip out to the plains. We are leaving May 22nd which is a Friday, and are not coming back until the following Friday. Basically this will be my first big time experience with chasing weather, so I want to open up to the forums to any suggestions that you feel are good for me to have. Feel free to give me pointers on anything from places to stay, see, eat, as well as pointers for actually chasing. Again I am new to this. I am picking up on certain aspects pretty quickly but forecasting is not necessarily my thing. I get the basic principles behind it. If you were to ask me to pick a specific target area for an active day I might be able to get you close but I don't feel 100% confident at this point.

I plan on taking my video camera and a digital camera, so I will be able to post any pictures or videos we may be lucky enough to take.
