Yeah of course it was probably too good to be true that wed actually have like 5 days in a row of nice weather. That just seemed really hard to believe in a pattern like this. Already hints at the dreary weather possibly coming in early next week. What are the thoughts here?
AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY 724 AM EDT THU JUN 14 2012 .SYNOPSIS... HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS DOWN FROM EASTERN CANADA INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE CENTER OF THE HIGH SLIDES SOUTHEAST OVER THE CANADIAN MARITIMES. THIS HIGH WILL WEAKEN ALLOWING MOISTURE FROM AN OFFSHORE LOW TO GRADUALLY MOVE TOWARD THE COAST DURING MONDAY AND TUESDAY. LONG TERM /FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY/... THIS FORECAST PERIOD STARTS ON A TRANQUIL NOTE AS A MARITIME POLAR AIR MASS ADVECTS SW AND GRADUALLY MODIFIES ACROSS THE REGION. INITIALLY...FORECAST MODELS SHOW AN UPPER LVL RIDGE BUILDING NE ACROSS NEW ENGLAND AS AN UPPER LVL TROUGH ACROSS THE WESTERN ATLANTIC OCEAN RETROGRADES SW TOWARD THE SOUTHERN MID ATLANTIC STATES AND SE U.S. OVER THE WEEKEND. ONE QUESTION IS JUST HOW FAR WEST AND SOUTH WILL THIS UPPER TROUGH RETROGRADE. MODELS ARE HINTING THAT LOW LVL MOISTURE WILL GRADUALLY WRAP AROUND THIS OFFSHORE SYSTEM...POSSIBLY RETURNING IN THE FORM OF CLOUDS AS EARLY AS SUNDAY. LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS OR SPRINKLES WOULD NOT BE OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR THIS SCENARIO. HOWEVER...BASED ON LOW CONFIDENCE OF DAY 4-5 FORECAST...TH CURRENT OPTIMISTIC FCST WILL CONTINUE AT LEAST THROUGH SUNDAY FOR NOW.

this weather sucks in southern new england. its been the 5th day of *bleep* in a row i knew this was going to happen. it just no way no how was going to stay nice all winter and spring and summer long. everyone wants a nice warm no snow winter but then you pay the price later on. so that nice pattern went from like end of october all the way to april (well at least 2 big huge storms that changed that pattern) so how long before we can get out of this garbage???
