At midnight I hit 51.3 degrees and have had about .25-inches of rain in the past 4 hours. The temp incease is amazing, it was 23.3 at this time yesterday! Winds are kicking up around 10-15mph.
I'm not sure I've ever experienced such numerous temperature swings as we've had on Long Island over the last three weeks or so. To bad we can't get rid of that southerly flow....

Pretty crazy world when San Diego County gets a snow storm, while those of us along the East Coast keep getting skunked.
Does anyone know if snow is a normal occurrence in this part of the country?

Despite what the NWS is stating I predict Beryl will strike in the western Suffolk area tonite.
