I know our first system isnt even out of our area yet but , i keep seeing consenus with the models regarding this system middle of next week ,.
0z Nam http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....h=1&lang=en
18z GFS http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=096
12z UK http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....h=1&lang=en
12z canadian model http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=090
12z Euro http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....h=1&lang=en

They all are somewhat in a consensus , but might give someone places a good dump of snow . Wait and see scenario , also end of next week seems like another chance of a storm . Back to the deep freeze as well . this is winter my friends we got spoiled with the last 3 weeks with rain and warm now its back to normal . let the ALBERTA clipper train going . wink.gif

Models are in somewhat of a agreement with some rain/snow mix for NS then a change over to snow ?
CMC has snow. http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=066

GFS has rain for all of us . http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=054

Nam has nothing lol http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=066

Uk has nothing as well http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....hh=1&hh=060

Euro has something i guess lol http://meteocentre.com/models/explorateur....h=1&lang=en

Ensemble members from the CMC GLB most of the members have something for us but rather weak ! http://meteocentre.com/models/get_ensemble...=PNM&hh=060

Ensemble members from the cmc REG http://meteocentre.com/models/get_ensemble...n=PT&hh=066

NCEP ENS GLB members has a mix of everythinghttp://meteocentre.com/models/get_ensemble.php?mod=ncep_geps&run=12&stn=PT&lang=en&map=na&hh=066

SREF has a mix of everything http://meteocentre.com/models/get_ensemble...n=PT&hh=066

So the verdict is we could be getting 10 cm of snow for Cape breton and 2-5 cm of snow elsewhere in NS or we could be getting alot of mixing or we could be getting alot of snow then a change over to rain then back to snow ? Either way there are more shots of stormy weather beyond next week a parade of alberta clippers will dip down it only takes one or 2 to blow up off the coast and give us some nor easters and bring back some of that snow we once had lol

Thought this would be something to discuss , seems to be a warm low pressure system moving through pumping up some nice South West / South Easterlies . and the gfs has been consistent on a heavy rain and wind event , i know it will change a few times but if it rains it may swell have strong winds with it wink.gif

Looks like a rain event but things can change .

Seems like there is some consensus in the models for a rapidly intesifying storm to move towards the maritimes mid week ,. so far all the models have the storm but the exact path is unknown ,.
