Made this thread to discuss the oct 20 -25 storm( i put wide date for any movement)

Oct 9 - ? MidAtl/NE Cool Spell

The GFS has kept hinting at a big trough coming down from Canada and bringing us really cold weather

30's for lows in NYC

Here are the last few runs

06z/12z/and 18z runs for oct 10

Aug 4-11 MidAtl/NE Above Average Period

GFS has shown in last couple of runs a period of above average temps in new England and the mid Atlantic

Looks like a ridge develops of the coast and rams all the heat and humidity up the coast




850mb Temps rise up to 23C during the peak of the heat wave

July 20-22 MidAtl/NE Severe Weather

The gfs has been showing these 3 days to have high cape with high LI and some shear( some is better than none lol)

Well here is the thread

GFS has been showing a strong ridge developing around the 16th, this ridge encompass almost the whole country and peak right over the northeast, plus the jet stream will be shot up all the way to Hudson bay,Canada

peak seems to be July 21-23
