What's everyone been up to?
I've been stuck in a gaming zone since September. Got back into playing a WWII online multiplayer game "Day of Defeat Source". I have about 70 hours into it. Helps unwind after a busy day!
I know we have a few gamers in here - what are you playing these days?!

UPDATE: The Group has launched! You can join the group here!
I have had a thought since the summer of opening up a Facebook group for us dedicated, diehard weather fanatics. The main purpose of the group would be for us to use a "Live Stream" option that Facebook has recently launched so we can watch live footage from a member (ex. Travis receiving heavy Lake Effect snowfall, can do a few minute broadcast showing conditions, or myself can hookup my phone to my windshield and broadcast a live feed of thunderstorms or whatever I choose). I know for sure that the Facebook App for Android + iPhone devices supports live stream, I am unsure about BlackBerry. Be advised that if you are not on WiFi that it may use a little bit of data (unsure how much it would actually take up). Once the livestream is complete, it gives you the option to save to the page to be viewed by other members who did not view it live.
I know some of you aren't a user of Facebook which shouldn't be an issue if you would like to watch the live broadcasts however if you are interested in the actual broadcasting you need to be a member. There are a few other alternatives as well (YouTube Live Broadcasting) however I haven't played around with that at all.
Thoughts at all? I discussed it with Travis and Jay last week and they thought it was a neat idea but I really would like to see how comfortable everyone else would be with this!

OK, here is my first little go at things. First time I have really done this before, so please bear with me. As much as I'd like to add the Atlantic Canada maps as well, I am just going to stick with the Ontario maps for the time being just a starter so I can get the hang of things. Please again, bear with me and any helpful insight from anybody would be greatly appreciated.
Look's like we had some interested for next weekend potentially into early next week for a disturbance(s). Appears to be 2 actual disturbances rolling through at almost the same time (one on the 7th, and one on the 8th). If another separate thread is needed, please feel free to mention it.
Just to get the ball rolling, I am assuming it's an Alberta Clipper as it's in the same track as a clipper.
Latest 18z GFS with the first disturbance next Saturday.

Well, it's about time I posted this here. I've never really shown anyone my actual reason why I love snow Scale hobbygrade RC cars!
Recently added a snowplow onto my scale crawler - same rig that I posted here a few days ago! I love plowing my driveway clear...gives me a reason to love snow!
