I followed some heavy storms yesterday on radar and satellite imagery over Ontario - they looked very severe by the echoes seen and their typical form on the sat. images. Weather watchs/warnings and alerts have been flying around in the afternoon ..

Well this morning there's a confirmation of a tornado with damages near Dryden - and apparently a ''long lived'' one. Here's the temporary report from EC for that event.

Updated weather summary for Northern Ontario issued by
Environment Canada at 8:56 AM EDT Wednesday 17 August 2011.

==weather event discussion==

Environment Canada has confirmed, through photo and video evidence,
Ontario's fourth tornado of the season. Early indications
Are that a tornado with a long track - roughly 80 km - from west
Of Dryden northeastward to between Lac Seul and Sioux Lookout and
possibly beyond occured on Tuesday August 16th between about 4:15 PM
and 5:45 PM EDT.

A Fujita scale rating of this storm has yet to be established, but
would be determined based on evidence of damage that may be
forthcoming. The forest fire service of the Ontario ministry of
natural resources is dispatching a helicopter from Dryden airport to
investigate the track of this event and any damage that may have

A very sad news for the Canadian Weather services (Env. Canada). The single cell brains managing our country decided the weather services needed a major cut and will layoff 700 employees - that's more than 11% of the HR force. 11 meteorologists from the Ontario Bureau (a region getting a lot of very severe weather every summer), inspectors and scientists monitoring the pollution and industrial consequences on the habitat. For our US friends, 11 meteorologists might be viewed as very little, but here in Canada, it means that almost every body from that bureau will be layed off. This is like cutting about every body from the Norman's severe weather office in the US.

One could say, Canada needs to cut everywhere to balance the budget - sure it's true that we need to be very carefull with the spendings and some cuts are needed. Yet, while cutting more than the customer is asking for on any agency disturbing the Conservative point of view and plans, the same government is giving away $2.8 billion per year to the fossil industry. As if they needed it.

So put it that way, there will be less and less people to do the forcasting, the monitoring (the alerts and warning), do the habitat's surveys on pollution, in other words - the Prime's friends are now free to pollute and no one will check them, while we'll get pounded by severe weather without or less warning. And forget about a new weather radar system, and the public warning system - it's all gone now.

Beware US friends, the conservative administration is heading your way very soon. For many Canadian, that administration (government) is now playing with our life and safety.

We're used to see debunking of renown skeptics and denialist by environmentalist or people like Peter Sinclair (http://www.greenmanstudio.com/. But recently a scientist stood up to confront Lord Monkton and all the twisting, the false facts, he's presenting and saying.

And not to mention, all the look-alike stuff he's adding to his presentation to make believe he is representing UK's science community, UK's government, and that he is falsely created the impression that he himself is a member of the UK parliament, although he has never been. And he even recently added to his presentation he was ''A member of the Upper House of the United Kingdom Legislature'' - even if the official UK's House of the Lords slapped him with a virulent reply to that allegation ''the House of Lords has stated that "Christopher Monckton is not and has never been a Member of the House of Lords'', few years ago and again recently.

But back to the subject, we've seen websites debunking people like Monkton, but now we're talking about major league debunking. A scientist takes the time to debunk the Lord. Point by point, going all over he's presentation, pulling out all the lies and twisted truth. It is an ongoing story as C Monkton gave a very disturbing reply to Dr. Abraham trying to attack his competence and knowledge of the subject and going deeper in lies and twisted truth. Wow, just read what Dr. Abraham accomplished and you'll see who has the best knowledge to talk about those subjects and to debate scientific points.

It's bit long to go through all the presentation but it worth the time, it's kind of normal to be so long as C. Monkton put a lot of stuff in his presentation to confuse the crowd - so it takes times to debunk all the lies he's showing up. Hopefully after reviewing that scientific debunking, some of you will stop seeing that man as a guru, a god, and a reference, and start seeing him as a clown in the croud.

The link to Dr. J. Abraham's presentation (professor at the University of St-Thomas / Minnesota) is : A scientist Replies to Christopher Monkton

From few weeks ago, you can also look at Sinclair's videos debunking C.Monkton at :
Part 1
Part 2

I hope this subject will not be censored as it does give a response to recent videos produced by ACW presenting some of those people as guru with undisputable proof or facts. It turned out that most (if not all) of their claims are wrong or falsified (twisted).
