Snow NE of Den.... here we go!

I have read many of the factors that should make this winter different...I had been optimistic up until now. I am seeing some of the same things happening this year.... long range models show good storms 10-14 days out...then we get within 7 days and "poof" they disappear....now Im reading about pattern changes again.... last year we read the same thing all winter....it never changed...we have seen some cold air, and I thought it was here to stay, but now long range models showing warm ups in Dec....same as last year. And now also the future pattern change might come in Jan/Feb....where have we heard that before? Why is the cold air not staying in place over central Midwest? Why is the moisture always dis-appearing? Is the drought we are currently in strong enough to suppress our storms? I am very worried....as I want snow, but I am more worried about lack of moisture thru the winter and into next spring/summer...as that will only make things worse.
Anyone care to point out errors in my thoughts? Or support them? snow4ever |
