April 3-5 MidAtl/NE Storm

GFS has been consistent with a storm during this timeframe... It has been showing flip flop solutions each run and a few of them consist of a snow storm while others suggest it will cut too far north to bring snow. We do have cold air to work with for this to be a snowstorm somewhere in the northeast/mid atlantic if we get an ideal track

Should be a fun storm to track... as it is around the Easter timeframe... maybe Easter Monday Storm of 2013? I'll stop the hype at that.

00z GFS along with previous runs suggest a weak clipper to move through during this time frame which then hints at possible coastal development which could affect SENE... But either way it is likely that the region could see snow showers.

Your Longest Lasting Snowpack

I just noticed that my longest lasting snowpack this season was from December 24th - January 13th of at least 1".

I decided to create this thread for fun to see how long everyone else here had a snow pack this winter of at least 1" and maybe even your longest snowpack over an entire winter... I have short memory with these types of things but I can only assume that I held a very nice snowpack for several months over active winter seasons of the past.

What about you? Can you shed any light of how active some of your past seasons were and how long your snowpack lasted along with maybe your greatest snowpack at one time? I think I can remember several winters with over a few feet on the ground at one time.

I noticed something pretty silly and useless IMO...

What is the point of this feature where ANY user can rate another user by a 1-5 star rank which is then publicly displayed. Obviously it isn't used often, otherwise several people would have hundreds of ratings especially those who contribute greatly. However, when it is used... it usually is abused by a certain person giving a contributor 1 star and a troll 5 stars just because they may disagree or agree with something. I really don't see the point of this... as it serves no purpose for this forum other than inaccurately judging other users which may affect their credibility in some people's eyes especially those that aren't actively on this forum.

I am not one to complain about things often... and I am not sure how much attention this will even get as it appears this part of the forum is rarely looked at... however it would be a positive change for this forum.
