Accuweather's forecasts show the hi & low temp forecast for each day....except that the low temp shown for each day is not the forecast for the day indicated, but the next. The "thinking", I suppose, is that the low temp shown is the "overnight" low, which will be the temp for about 6 or 7 am in the following morning: not the day indicated, but the next.
Example: Forecast for today in Dallas shows hi 51 and low 39. The low this morning was 49, however the hourly forecast indicates the real low will about midnight at 43. 39 is really tomorrow morning's low temp forecast. So today's low was never forecast. Either today or yesterday. Why not just forecast the low for each day on the correct day, instead of forecasting today's low yesterday, and tomorrow's low today? Who the heck is Accuweather to decide that "the day" starts at 6 or 7 AM instead of at midnight like the rest of the civilized world? I just want to know the real forecast for a particular day. Can this be fixed?

I really don't understand the concept of forecasting the low temperature for tomorrow as if was for today. For AccuWeather to report the low temperature for today for what is really the low temperature for tomorrow morning is confusing at best and arrogant at worst. The "day" has been established as midnight to midnight a long, long, long, time ago and seems to have worked pretty well. But Accuweather has taken it upon themselves to "re-invent the day" for forecasting purposes....but not for actual? Looking at the monthly forecast, I see the actual high and low for yesterday, which I believe are from midnight to midnight. However, AccuWeather's forecast low for today is really the "over night low", for tomorrow morning. So what is the forecast low for today? Why is it not the low for yesterday, if the "day" has been re-established as 6AM to 6AM. The forecast low for tomorrow is shown as if it was today, so there is no forecast low for today on the monthly forecast page? Why not show today's low on todays forecast and tomorrow's low on tomorrow's forecast? What is the point to re-invent the forecast day? Splain it to me Lucy.
