OK ya'll.... I spent the entire storm out on my front porch... was a totally CRAZY time... well... maybe it's just me that's crazy eh?
I have NO idea how bad the winds were... but I know that I could NOT stand up without holding onto something... you could see trees snapping EVERYWHERE!!!!!! A single, simply leaf hit me in the face and actually left a mark... and it hurt! yeah, yeah, I know... I'm crazy... but man was it awesome... I still have no power, got my phone on today... so plugged my puter into my generator... Anyone know how bad the winds were? The eye passed just a few miles West of me... Milton got hit pretty hard but to my knowledge only 3 dead... from things only storm related... not actual tornados or anything... was just crazy... ~Melissa

Tropical depression one has reared it's head.... soon predicted to be a tropical storm!
It's headed somewhere between Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle. :shock: |
