Oct. 8-? Southeast, Gulf Coast, Florida Cool Down

After flexing a bit this week, the Bermuda Ridge looks to be heading east and weakening by next week. The only fly in the ointment I see is a potential Rex Block that will set-up somewhere around Cal.

October 28th-? MidAtl/NE Cool Spell

Now that models have started to come into better agreement. I've decided to start this thread. But just to be on the safe side, I've opted to label it cool rather then cold for now.

September 30th-? MidAtl/NE Cool Spell

With the PNA forecasted to go positive and the AO/NAO forecasted to go negative by the first week of October, it appears likely a cool down will hopefully greet the Eastern 2/3s of the nation. This should weaken and drive the Bermuda ridge eastward. Giving a taste of Fall even to the Sunshine State.

Some models are suggesting the Southeast could very well break records left and right later next week. What do you all think?

Oct. 3-6th Florida Cooldown

According to the GFS and many other models, it appears Florida will have a surge of cooler much drier air in the wake of Nicole! Although pushed back slightly, models have been consistent on this trend. A few even claim Orlando will dip down into the 50's for overnight lows!

What are your thoughts on this welcome change...
